South Carolina Oncology Associates employs 4 social workers for the sole purpose of assisting our patients. They are able to help our patients in their search for multiple services such as transportation to the clinic for those who may need it, home health care, hospice, and medical equipment service. The social workers are also able to navigate the different copay assistance foundations for those patients who meet the necessary financial requirements for the foundation.

Our social work service continues to be one of the most important departments at South Carolina Oncology as we develop relationships with our patients from not just a medical perspective but a personal one as well.
