Dr. Wondesen Gebreamlak has been with SCOA since 2012. He was drawn to medical physics because it combines his passion for physics with his passion for improving the lives of cancer patients through radiation therapy. He is committed to advancing radiation therapy through clinical excellence, innovation, quality, and patient safety. He values collaboration with the entire radiation oncology team to provide the highest quality care for every patient.
His professional interests include treatment planning, image-guided radiation therapy, patient safety, and improving electron therapy dose calculation methods.
Outside of work, Dr. Gebreamlak enjoys traveling, participating in a variety of sports, and spending time with his children, family, and friends.
